Bangladesh parliament house:
The Parliament house at Sher -e-Bangla nagar in Dhaka is a wonder of modern tecnology and architecture.It is one of the bigest and most spectacular parliament house in the world.It designed by the famous U.S.A architect louis i kahn,this 155ft high 9 storey building is surrounded by an lateral lake called the crescent lake.The main section is hidden behind a strong outer covering with triangular
and circular opening.The Sangsad bhaban has 1605 door,335windows,365 ventilator and corridors totalling to a bewildering length of 41.6 k.m.
One could easily get lost in these deceptive corridors. The house has 354 seats for MPs,40 for journalists, 56 for guestsand 430 for spectators. It has 3 party rooms each room can seats 153
people . The whole place is air conditioned and includs all modern aminitiirs.The Parliament house
construction work on this structure started in 1964.It was finally inaugurated in 1982 and Parliamentary section was held on 15 february the same year .It is annual maintenance cost is about 50 millon taka.It is a truly a wonder for a poor country like bangladesh.
